Riverstone Transit Center

This new High-Performance Transit station at Riverstone in Coeur d’Alene serves the Post Falls/Coeur d’Alene area with Paratransit and Citylink connections, as well as bringing the administrative staff to a central location to better serve ridership. Constructed on property jointly owned by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe of Indians and Kootenai County, the project was completed in 2019 at an approximate cost of $2.9 million.

The facility includes outdoor waiting areas, sculpted stormwater swales evocative of natural riverine landscapes, landscape buffers between paved parking areas and adjacent travel lanes designed to provide exceptional site visibility for security reasons.
